Indian customers have been baffled by a seemingly odd-looking car wash that was spotted in a New York mall.
A woman walking by the Car Wash said the vehicle wash was in a different area of the mall, but the car wash manager told local media that he didn’t know anything about the carwash.
“We had a few customers come in.
They asked us why we are here, when we are not even there.
It was baffling to them.
We are here to sell their products and it seemed strange to them,” the manager told The Times.
Indian car owners have been known to go for cheap car wash services because the country’s government provides subsidy of about Rs 50 per month to car owners.
The Car Wash was spotted by the shopkeeper at the New York Mall in Manhattan.
“It was not our intention to do a business with the store, so we don’t have any issue with the customers,” the store manager said.
The owner of the Car-Wash, who declined to be named, said the shop was being used to sell cars and other vehicles.
“I have to say it is a shock to us.
We have done a lot of work here and we do not know about this,” the owner said.
