A car wash operator in North Carolina has been charged with driving under a suspended driving license after he allegedly pulled a gun on another customer and shot her in the chest.
Kellen Richey, 35, was charged with two counts of second-degree murder, as well as six counts of felony assault.
According to a news release from the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office, Richeys family was in the store on Saturday when he shot and killed 28-year-old Kathryn L. Jackson in the parking lot.
Richey’s son, who is currently in the custody of the police department, was arrested and booked into the jail.
Rice said that the two victims were in their 20s.
