It has been confirmed that Sam’s Auto Wash has closed its doors, with the business in bankruptcy.
Sam’s Auto was a popular destination for car owners across the country who wanted to have their car wash done by the family-owned business.
The business was purchased by Sam’s family in 2005 and quickly expanded, expanding into more than 1,000 locations.
It closed in October of this year, leaving behind only one store and two employees.
Sam said the family decided to close the business because it wasn’t being financially sustainable and couldn’t afford to keep going.
Sams owner, Todd Sam, said that it was not uncommon for the family to take on additional debt in order to keep the business going, but that the business was a great business that had been well loved for decades.
“We had a lot of good customers, a lot that would be in their 20s and 30s, and I know it was a little challenging,” Sam said.
“I think we’ve had some people that have come in with the goal of buying a used car and I think that’s just been part of it, I think we’re just a little too busy at the moment to keep doing that.
We are trying to do what’s right for our family.”
Sams business was known for offering its customers great service, but a few weeks ago, the business closed its remaining doors, which led to the sale of Sam’s Garage.
The garage, which has been on the market for over a year, is expected to sell for $1.5 million.
The sale is expected in the next few weeks.
Sam and his wife, Jill, have sold the business to their brother-in-law, Dave, who is selling it to a family member.
Sams Garage will be located at 612 E. 10th St. in Nashville, Tennessee.
Sam says that the family is very proud of its work and the work that Sams Auto Wash performed over the years.
“This was a place that we loved, a place where we knew we would be able to make a difference and make a mark, and that’s what we’ve done,” Sam told ABC News.
