A woman is suing the city of Chicago for allegedly forcing her to drive the same coin she received in a car wash and drive it back to her home in the suburbs.
The Chicago Sun-Times reported Thursday that the woman was charged with a felony for allegedly failing to pay the $20 bill, which was later found to be counterfeit.
She was charged Monday in Cook County Circuit Court.
The woman, identified in the report as Toni Lee, said the coin car was found in a trash bin at her home on Jan. 31.
She said the coins were later returned to her.
