A quickie carwash for players at the Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif.

A quick car wash for players, a team owner and the team owner’s wife, who will also be there to help clean up after the game, is in the works.
Simoniz, the Anaheim Ducks owner, said Monday the quick carwash would be his way to celebrate the first anniversary of the franchise.
He said he wanted to honor his wife and daughter by having them come to the Honda center for a quick wash, as she had been doing for years, before the season started.
Sims said the idea for the quick wash came after he and his wife were at the mall with some friends.
They went to a car wash but then saw some guys washing cars in the parking lot, so they decided to take a break.
They didn’t take much time because the guys that were cleaning cars were there so quickly and I thought it was time to have some fun,” Simons said.
Simson said he will have about a dozen cars for the guys to wash and then the team will be able to get rid of them and have another quick wash.
He did not specify when that would be.”
The guys that are doing the wash and getting rid of the cars are going to be in Anaheim for the first time,” he said.
The quick car washing will be the first of many he will do in Anaheim this season.
He is scheduled to do about 10 more car and wash events.
He has been doing the quick clean for about a year now and said he is getting better at it.
