Car wash Sharonville, Va.
— The first car washing in the United States to be opened in a house, the Car Wash Sharonville car washing opened this week in a former garage.
The Sharonville City Council unanimously approved the car wash Thursday, and it will begin operation Jan. 12.
The garage will serve as the store’s first location.
“We wanted to do something different, something fun,” said Sharonville resident and Sharonville Mayor Michael Kline.
“We wanted a place where people could go in the morning and take the kids to school or go for a ride and have a great time.”
Kline said the Car Washes hopes to provide “a fun and educational experience” for its patrons, while also providing an outlet for Sharonville residents.
He hopes the store will create a sense of community among the residents and visitors, as well as provide residents with “something to do” while they are at work or school.
The Sharon Valley Community Center will be the storefront, which will be open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
A second, adjacent garage will be used for storing and organizing the car washing, and the storeroom will be home to the shop’s cashier and the shop manager.
The shop’s entrance will be located at the corner of North and West Sts.
The Car Wash will offer a range of car wash services, including: wash your car for free, clean and repaint your car, vacuum your car and dry your car.
Car wash staff members will be available to assist customers with car washing needs.
